21st Century Welfare Update and Consultation

The Government has published a paper on benefit reform, 21st Century Welfare, outlining ideas for reforms to the benefit system.  The Government is consulting widely on the paper and the consultation period runs until 1st October 2010.  Through this consultation the Department for Work and Pensions seeks views to inform thinking on reforms to the benefits and Tax Credits system, including the idea of a single integrated Universal Credit.  If you would like to read more or comment, please click here.
